Finishes should be chosen carefully...

Timber is an excellent flooring material, combining beauty, warmth and
resilience with good wearing properties. However, to maintain these
attributes over a long period, timber floors require a sealing treatment,
which should be durable and take the environment into account.

Mostly used these days are oil-, water-, and wax-based finishes. These
finishes give the timber the chance to breath and move with seasonal
changes in humidity and temperature.

At Precision Flooring a point of difference is the wide range of
custom-made floor stains and lime washes we offer. Our signature
